■ YG Entertainment releases a new poster in celebration of Nam Tae Hyun's birthday

TWICE spent the first week of their comeback with a blast.

K-Pop girl group TWICE released their 2nd mini-album, 'PAGE TWO,' on April 25th, and the girls have debuted #1 on eight online music charts, became the girl group who achieved the highest first-week sales volume this year, and music video of the new album's title track has surpassed 1.4 million views on YouTube during last one week.

These achievements are more remarkable because it only has been about six months since TWICE have made their official debut.

The album's title track, 'CHEER UP,' debuted #1 on eight realtime charts directly after it was released on April 25th, and it also debuted #1 on eight daily charts later in the day. The song had to fall a few steps down due to new albums released by other major K-Pop singers, but the song succeeded in reclaiming the #1 ranking again in a very short period of time.

On May 2nd, the song still secured the #1 ranking on Melon, Genie, Naver Music, M.net, Bugs, Soribada, and Monkey3 Charts.

The total first week sales volume (counted from April 25th until May 1st) has reached approximately 41,800 copies, and this is the highest first-week sales volume achieved by a K-Pop girl group this year.

Music video of 'CHEER UP,' which was also released on April 25th, has surpassed 1.4 million views on YouTube so far. Music video of TWICE's debut title track, 'OOH-AHH,' had debuted #1 on music video charts as well last year, and many fans and netizens are now focusing their attention to which achievement TWICE will achieve next.

It is not easy to find idol groups showing such absolute dominance both on domestic online music charts and YouTube, and many music fans are now showing even greater anticipation for the future of TWICE's career.
